Old Tat Magazine

Where fashion and art come together to celebrate a love for old tat.

Dioralop – designer

In a disposable society what better way to dress yourself in disposable images?

The Polaroid’s popularity has continued to grow since the invention of the instant effect camera in 1923, with retro trends being highly sought after. In a time of Instagram stars and when selfies are all the rage, Dioralop’s collections are shaking it like a Polaroid picture and dressing the modern woman in visual memories, juxtaposing the retro with the now. Inspired by street fashion (which can only get crazier if the futuristic movies are anything to go by), Dioralop take a meaningful photograph, click flash and shake then plaster it all over a dress. So as long as we have eyes, cameras and vanity this ingenious Polaroid fashion inspired collection will inevitably be a keeper.
