Most of our content is commissioned and created in-house by Team Tat.
We do accept some submissions for both online and print. Please see our submission guidelines below for more information.
We welcome new contributors.
For submissions, collaborations and all other enquiries please e-mail us.
To submit a fashion editorial we have some guidelines to ensure your work comes out in the Old Tat style.
Your editorial should be unique, interesting and have a clear, concise story running through. Remember we are creating a magazine different from the norm, so our content needs to reflect this. We do not accept plain or overly done storylines, so please use your submission as a chance to be super creative.
Your editorial must, in some way, however loosely, reflect the theme.
If you are planning to submit, please contact us and let us know. You will need to send your concept, team links and mood-boards to us for us to approve and give a possible pull letter.
We do accept vintage fashion credits but also want to see brands and designers (both known and up-and-coming) in the credits too.
Please only use agency models only for your editorials.
If your work does not fit these guidelines, you can still submit for us to review, as we do also publish work online, providing that it fits our taste.
If you are submitting for print and we accept, you cannot then have the work published elsewhere aswell.
To submit simply e-mail low resolution Jpeg files to our main e-mail address with team and fashion credits in a word document.
If you are thinking of submitting other types of artwork of writing, please get in touch. We love to hear from you, Tatties.
Please note: Once work is submitted we maintain the right to publish it and work cannot be withdrawn. We also maintain the right to not publish any submitted work at any stage. We will credit any fashion items, garments, agencies and team members featured within our publication however it is the creative’s responsibility to submit this information correctly, as we cannot take responsibility for any errors. It is also the submitter’s responsibility to ensure all team members are credited correctly. After our set deadline, we cannot alter any information.
If any person should use our name or documents, or indeed should gain anything towards their photo-shoot, such as team members, models, locations, styling items etc under the name of Old Tat, then all works and images automatically belong to Old Tat magazine. Therefore the team may NOT submit their works to any other publication without the permission of the Old Tat editor. This includes BOTH online and print. By using our documents and/or the name of Old Tat, you are agreeing to these conditions and therefore agreeing that all content belongs to Old Tat alone and must be submitted before set deadlines.
We are not in a position to be able to issue complimentary copies so please consider this before submitting/collaborating.
